BEAUTY TALk: a minimalist cat eye

BEAUTY TALk: a minimalist cat eye

Eyeliner has never really been my thing. Not because I don’t love the look, but rather because it intimidates me. (Have you guys ever seen this graphic?) But eyeliner is definitely having a moment right now and I always envy girls with perfectly winged liner. However, with the help of Clinique Colour Pro Matin Maulawizada it seemed like an easy task. Matin and I met on a trip to Marrakech, where we were immersed in Morrocan culture, inspired by the rich colors and intricate design artistry. As you guys know, my blog is all about being inspired by travel, and the places I see along the way. Especially for beauty it is so interesting to observe the different cultures and trends. Marrakech is known for bold eyeliner, and Matin helped me interpret that look to work for me, creating the perfect balance between a trend and my personal style. I have to admit, I have rarely gotten so many compliments on my eyes in one day and even after we finished shooting for The Wink (Clinique’s amazing beauty blog, which just recently launched the German version), I decided to keep the eyeliner on for dinner at Nomad in the heart of Marrakech. Paired with a nude lip for a minimalist-chic look, I fell head over heels for the bold eyeliner.
