Even though I have been on the go all summer, it is hard to believe that I have yet to have a real vacation.
When Mike and I first moved to Vienna, we used to go home every other weekend or every three weeks max.
Needless to say, it’s been a bit quiet here on the blog since last week. It has been an incredibly busy week and I feel like the only time I have spent online is to try to catch up on emails some time in the middle of the night.
It’s been such a long time since I’ve done one of my bits & pieces posts. Since my life has been incredibly busy these past few weeks (or actually this year so far), I always feel like I have so much to tell you guys.

For the first time since I can remember (read: in my life), I decided that I wanted to spend my birthday away from home.
September isn’t really amongst my favorites months, as we officially have to say good-bye to Summer, but it also holds a few special dates, such as the anniversary with my favorite mister or his birthday.
This past week has been beyond busy – 4 days of filming with VICE and then straight to London to shoot for HALLHUBER.
This week, summer finally arrived. Blue sky, warm weather, rooftop BBQs, nude flats and fresh flowers have all made my day a little happier, as seen on Instagram (@vickyheiler).
